‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”, the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are all trying to make a mark in this world, leave a legacy behind in our absence and set an example for our children to learn from and live by. We work hard everyday at what we do and trying in some areas to perfect our craft. We put our all into our visions and pursuit in reaching our business goals and this is fine but let us not forget to give back along the way. It's easy to do things out of love for our families and even for the benefit of ourselves. Let us not forget about others around us doing the same thing we are doing. Life is not always a cake walk and sometimes we just need a friend, a push in the right direction or that little bit of encouragement that gives us hope and helps us to keep fighting the good fight. There is a blessing in helping others. We don't always have to be on the receiving end of something. We should graciously help other people in need even if it means sharing what we have with them. There are givers and takers in the world. It's easy to take but how easy is it for you to give? When you find yourself in a position to help someone be happy to do so. God answers the prayers of others through us. I know I have been the recipient of blessings through others that I know the Lord used to bless me through. God has given us gifts, some have specific talents. He did not give us these things to hide. There is a reason we are given them and that is to share with others.
We each have unique skills and different abilities that set us apart from one another. We are called to do things in conjunction with certain talents given. Some posses talents that they don't even realize they have. Let us encourage them and help them grow. Serving others help us to be more like Jesus. When we serve others we shift the focus off of ourselves. Its a way to share the love and Grace we have been given by God. My group Moms Working for the Kingdom's motto has always been helping hands, serving others and touching hearts. We are not just in business for ourselves. We are a group of Women Uplifting God's kingdom and spreading his word and how we serve others is how we honor God and comply with his word in being obedient to him. He blesses us when we bless others.
This place was created in a continued effort to bond women of Faith. Our goal is to encourage, uplift, support, and be in prayer for one another.
